After being sent back to bed, Ethan was up again at 4am then and 5am and every 10min after that until Dad caved and gave him permission to use his iPad.

Ethan was stopped 3 times yesterday afternoon with people commenting on his hair. 3 more times today the first being at breakfast while he was picking up his toast to go with his Nutella donuts and pancake with marshmallows.

Kelsie has a nasty cough/bark today so a quick visit to the GP to check her lungs and dropping into the chemist to get Ethans tin of ‘power powder’. All good on both fronts but Mum and Dad are hurting in the hip pocket worse than an afternoon at the circus, at $120 for the GP and $52 for the tin.

Kelsie tripped on the way to the pool and got away with a couple of nasty grazes. that required prompt Band-Aiding. Not they lasted very long in the pool. Jumping between the slide pool, ‘big pool’ and the ‘hot tub’ (thanks YouTube), is going to be the daily grind.

It’s been another day where Daddy could only shake his head and wonder why!

Why when Ethan declaring “When I jumped on the floor, my undies fell on the fan”. Why when Kelsie walked through the sprinklers in her dry towel. Why when Ethan nearly upending a stone-fired pizza on a paddle in the hand of a waiter. Why when Ethan parkoured his way around the playground equipment. Why when Kelsie decided to do a standing front flip off the water slide.

The Pizza chef at dinner seemed quite put out that the new head chef puts capsicum on the Hawaiian Pizzas, and even more put out that Kim said she was actually looking forward to it. He still brought out activity packs and an unnecessary amount of mentos for the kids.
