A quiet day but not without its challenges.

The slide pool with the hot tub was closed for maintenance. The second fine day in over a week. Ethan was not happy. Worse still the pool was open later when I dropped Kelsie and Ethan at kids club.

We spent the morning pool hopping. Splash zone, lap pool, mushroom pool. Then we needed to go to pacific fair to get Kelsie new earrings and Ethan new sandals. As Kelsie keeps losing the backs and thanks soles are leaking away.

Kelsie found a set of about a dozen earrings that should tide her over until we get home. Ethan tried on every pair of sandals in his size at Target before narrowing it down to 2 then selecting based on “eeny meeny miny moe”.

A quick lunch in the food court. Again both kids wanted different foods. Kelsie wanted nuggets and chips from McDonald’s, Ethan wanted nuggets and chips from KFC. Dad had a ramen that is best forgotten. We had to quickly vacate the area, lest Kelsie drew the attention of the Halloween cosplayers.

Back to Turtle beach for more pool time. Booking activities for the rest of the weak. Then of to kids club and down time for Mum and Dad.
