Where to start. A sleep in was nice. Ethan was still awake at 6am. But he slept through the night which was a first. This meant no swim before breakfast, but still time for a game of SkipBo.
The sight of Ethan skipping to the buffet for his 4th (or maybe 5th Dad isn’t sure) plate of pancakes and marshmallows, was about as surprising wake up as you could expect. There just aren’t any other red heads up here. I don’t know if it’s the sun or the heat, but he is as big a novelty as he was in Bali.
A shuttlebus into Noosa Heads to walk along the boardwalk was a treat. Ethan enjoyed playing in the sand and both Kelsie and Ethan had fun counting the bush turkeys.
Ethan wasn’t happy when we stopped into a couple of shops. He openly declared “I don’t like going into shops when you don’t buy me anything!
Ice-creams and more swimming was the rest of the day.
A family cocktail session in the spa before dinner. (cocktails for Mum and Dad, a mocktail for Kelsie and a milkshake for Ethan)
Nisa Thai instead of Sum Young Guys, which is not kid friendly and they don’t do takeaway. Shame.
Half way through the holiday and we finally chalk up a convincing win.
