The heat didn’t quite hit the peak we expected, but it’s been the hottest day so far.

We got out in a canoe today. It was easier than last year, as Mummy has ditched her scooter, and they’ve replaced the rickety stairs with a ramp. Ethan was not happy with the rocking of the canoe and didn’t want to go near the river when we stopped for a paddle. Kelsie loved the river and would have swum beside the canoe if Daddy had let her.

Daddy found two unusual growths today, they look and sound eerily similar to Kelsie and Ethan. Wherever Daddy went, there they were on Daddys back, in Daddys face. Demanding attention lest they grow bigger and smother Daddy.

Kelsie had the best burger she’s ever had for dinner, it quickly dropped to a 9/10 when she found the un-melted corner of cheese and the onion in the tomato relish. Ethan filled up on Chips and ice cream.

The bridge hotel has gone back in time and stolen my old iPad and put it on shuffle.

Unfortunately, it’s not done much to attract clientele. Their prime position venue was dead.
