One more sleep!

Then we get our own beds back.

Our last full holiday day would surely not disappoint. Kim and I had lived in Sydney for more than a few years so we were ready for everything.

Well yes and no. Kelsie and Ethan were at each other from the get go. And had their treat privileges removed before breakfast. Which ended up being scones with Jam and cream at The Rocks

Speaking of The Rocks. The Corn man has retired! Or so we were told by the fudge man.

This was almost the straw to tip Mum and Dad over the edge. Two weeks of demanding kids and over 3000 kilometres and we don’t get any corn.

For the record it’s not just any corn. It’s the sweetest, juiciest corn ever. It’s highly addictive and probably should be illegal.

Dad had a lunch catch-up with his old Sydney work colleagues so a quick drive back to the Ettamogah turned into a long drive when we got stuck behind the only NSW driver who’d obviously never driven in the city.

Kelsie and Ethan did their best to play cute, but when the attention turned off them it was time to act up.

On the road again with 5.5 hours to get to our last stop.

Mum was googling Wolf creek, a delayed curiosity from our back roads from Grafton drive, just as we were driving past the Belangelo state forest turn-off. An unnerving coincidence if there ever was one.

If the kids don’t get us the mosquitoes might.
