I had a dream

Swimming this morning was delayed and therefore unduly short as Ethan had managed to lose his goggles overnight. Left at one pool or another, or dropped en route back to the apartment we don’t know, but tomorrow we will need to get him new ones.

On our last full day at Turtle beach, we were headed to Dreamworld. Dreamworld opens an hour ad a half later than the Village Roadshow parks and closes an hour earlier. This may contribute to its lack of popularity. Despite the perfect weather, the park was almost empty. And we didn’t really have to queue for any rides, despite many kids’ rides running ‘alternating’.

Ethan and Kelsie loved the Moto Coaster at dreamworld, and the Escape from Madagascar, they had to settle for mostly kids’ rides after that, and Kelsie was quite indignant at the thrill level of the Big Red Boat ride. Kelsie was also unhappy, and not afraid to show it when Ethan was in control of the elevation button on the Dronkey ride.

Getting out of the gift shop is challenging enough, but we spent a good half hour in the lego shop, after the gift shop, building custom mini-figures, before hitting the frog and toad.

We were too late getting home to go for a swim, so a quick dinner at the deck then off to bed, check out tomorrow morning then the adventure continues.
